2020 New year message and official announcement of Dr. Seuk

Dear Everyone:

May the blessings of God be with each continent, nations and your organizations! Thank you so much for your hard work in developing TIMD in your nations and continent. We hope the New Year will be full of success and happiness for you and your family.

Please allow me to convey to all of you this New Year’s Message from the founder
of Tong-Il Moo-Do, Dr. Joon Ho Seuk.

“I would like to appreciate and congratulate all your total dedication, sacrifice and contributions to expand Tong-Il Moo-Do (TIMD) in your local areas, nations and continents.
Last year we celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the Founding of TIMD in Korea, Japan, Philippines, Brazil, Paraguay, Kenya and Cambodia with the new vision and commitment. On August 28, when we celebrated 40th Anniversary of the Founding of TIMD in Korea, Mother Hak Ja Han Moon, the inspirator of Tong-Il Moo-Do blessed us by giving us the inspirational message, giving medals to those who have contributed to the development of TIMD. She expects TIMD to expand all over the world, and practitioners of TIMD to be loyal and filial men and women. She gave us two wings to fly. If we fly, then we will become crane going over the Himalaya mountains.

Last year, upon the invitation of Dr. Sang Seuk Kim, the Regional Group Chairman of Central & South America and supported by Mr. Koichi Sasaki, TIMD Chairman of Brazil and Mr. Sung Jong Seo, TIMD Chairman of Sub-Region 2 in South America, I gave the keynote speech as the founder of TIMD to many congressmen and congress women in the House of Parliament in both Brazil and Paraguay. Until last year, TIMD had gone through difficulties in wilderness for 40 years but been able to sustain and overcome its course.
This coming November 2020, there will be a demonstration of 10,000 Tong Il Moo Do practitioners in the Philippines. We should exceed the Shaolin martial artists in Guinness Book of Record.

I respect and admire the wisdom and support of Dr. Chung Sik Yong, the Regional Group Chairman of Asia Pacific and TIMD in Asia Pacific for his boldness and confidence in utilizing TIMD as a means to raise and educate many young people especially the “Zero to Hero Project” that gives impact to the lives of many young people and it was indeed an amazing development in TIMD. Dr Yong once said, “TIMD is a gift from God…” We all should follow his vision, wisdom, & accomplishment.

Just last 22nd November 2019 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the World Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation (WTMF) representing myself and the Youth and Students for Peace (YSP) represented by Mr. Koji Matsuda signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to have a joint collaboration and partnership in raising, training and educating the youth and students for the sake of contributing to the UNSDG and world peace. I officially appointed Mr. Koji Matsuda as International Special Adviser of TIMD and Mr. Matsuda officially accepted it.

This is also to officially announce the new appointment of leadership position of our
WTMF. I appointed Master Takamitsu Hoshiko as the new International President of
WTMF. Meanwhile, replacing Master Hoshiko’s previous position, I appointed Dr. Venus
Agustin as the new Executive Vice-President and Secretary-General of WTMF, effective

In 2023, TIMD should absolutely become part of SEA Game in Cambodia. The Chairman
of TIMD Asian Pacific, Dr. Chung Sik Yong said, ‘TIMD is the gift from God.’ Let us
make the year 2020 the year of flying over all the obstacles and hardships to expand TIMD
to all over the world!”
