Ground Breaking Ceremony Report

Thailand, April 22, 2008

On April 22, 2008, we organized the Ground Breaking ceremony of the International Martial Arts Academy at the site in Thung Dang village, Tambol Lhongkhod, Amphur Prao, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

There were about 180 participants; local VIPs, our alliances, Tong- Il Moo-Do members, other martial artists, villagers and tribal people who live close to the land. The VIPs guests are as followed;

1. Representative of the Sheriff of Prao
2. The Mayor of LhongKhod
3. Superintendent from Lhong Khod Police Station
4. Polices from Lhong Khod Police Station
5. A police colonel
6. Tribal Leader
7. The Village Leader of Thung Dang
8. The Village leader of Moo 1 Thung Dang
9. Representative of Muslim
10. A Buddhist monk
11. A Christian Pastor
12. Mr. Rhang, the representative from We Love the King, We Love Thailand; a project originated by a member of the Royal Family and belonged to the Royal Thai Navy.
13. Reporter from 3 local newspapers; Thai News, Chiang Mai News and Lanna Today.

Apart from the actual ground breaking, Dr. Seuk and Mr. Pittaya made a speech about IMA and also Thong Il Moo Do. There was a stage show of Tong-Il Moo-Do, Tae Kwon-Do and Kung Fu performance. There were also some traditional Thai show on the stage for the prosperity of IMA.
