1ST MINDANAOWIDE TONG-IL MOO-DO SUMMER TRAINING
Philippines, April 16-22, 2008
Last April 16-22, National Instructors under Master Venus Agustin, namely Sabumnim Leo Carumba and Marlon Oranda with the Mindanao Head Instructor, Instructor Danilo Baclayo conducted a 7-days Tong-il Moo-Do workshop in Samal Island, Davao City.
The Training was led by Instructor Marlon Oranda promotion, with almost fifty participants who successfully passed all the requirements for promotion. After this 7-day Tong-il Moo-Do workshop, another 21-days leadership seminar and Tong-il Moo-Do training was held also in Davao Headquarters with 36 participants.
While he 21-day seminar and Tong-il Moo-Do training is going on, a separate 21-day leader ship seminar and Tong-il Moo-Do workshop was held also in General Santos, SOCSARGEN Region, with almost thirty participants including the staff.
The training was led by a National head Instructor, Leo Carumba assisted by the Mindanao Head Instructor Danilo Baclayo. The Success of all this training and seminars which started in Davao brought an idea to the National President of Tong-il Moo-Do Philippines , Master Edgar Tanate and had been agreed by Regional TIMD Directors and Tong-il Moo-Do Instructor’s training after the 21-day leadership workshop and seminars in General Santos.
The Purpose of this 7-days Instructor’s training is to raise potential leaders and trainers that can teach novice practitioner and will be assigned in the different Regions in Mindanao, in preparations for the incoming Global Peace Festival GPF-Mindanao on October 10-12, 2008 CDO – Philippines.
