There are more than 36 participants representing 4 city’s of Russia (Ulyanovsk,Ufa,Moscow and Samara) as a part of Global Peace Festival 2008 (GPF) was held at School 27 in city Ulyanovsk, on March 30, 2008 initiated by instructors Samiev Nikolai, Vitaly Naumov, Abuzarov Ruslan, Pavlov Alexey. It is the first time this tournament was held by the name "1st TIMD Open Tournament in Povolzye area”
The tournament was a part of Global Peace Festival witch start in our continent in 2008 and take a place in different area to promote idea of make friendly revelation ship thru any kind of art. And we hope and know that martial arts spirit can help so match for our student and also for families and society.
This tournament was a sparring competition. We are divide students for 5 weight categories, according weight and age like 25-32, 37-52, 44-58, 58-67, and 58-77(kg). Separately was one fight for absolutely category with very excellent reseller from Moscow- Sheparnev Andrey.

In the break time for the participators sing a song very beautiful lady-miss university 2005-Savelyeva Natalia. She welcome our tournament and wishes good luck to everybody. Ulyanovsk team also prepared beautiful and excellent demonstration for everybody.
Best regards for organization this tournament for instructors from Ulyanovsk: Novikov Sergey and Popov Anatoly. Special thanks for our doctor who work so hard and help our students not only thru medical care and also thru true mothers’ spirit.
