Thaketchedwin@yahoo.come Kenya Open Tong-Il Moo-Do Championship of 6th
November 2004 was held in Mombasa City, Coast Province. It attracted participants
of different martial arts from over 10 clubs throughout the country. This
was the first time for the Kenya Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation to organize
a National Tournament outside Nairobi.

October 27~December 5, 2004
The workshop got off to a flying start at the opening ceremony. All visitors were welcomed in the traditional Maori way by a group of elders arranged by one of our Peace Ambassadors, Suzanne Pene. Supporting Rev Yong and Master Hoshiko as the main speakers were a range of Peace Ambassadors who offered their greetings and warm remarks for a successful course.

On October 9th and 10th, the first World Martial Arts Peace King Cup Open Tournament was held at the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. About 50 participants came from Japan, Korea, China, USA, Southeast Asia, South America, Africa, Europe, Northeast and Oceania.

Preliminary competitions for the 1st World Martial Arts Peace King Cup Tournament took place on September 4, 2004 in Moscow. 13 black belt Tong-Il Moo-Do instructors of Northeast continent gathered to compete for the honor to join World Peace King Cup tournament as representatives of the Northeast Continent.

On May 27th a promotion test for the students took place in the boarding school ¹2 (this is a school for children, who have no parents or have difficult family situation). 13 students participated in this test. Some of the students have serious intentions to become future TIMD instructors.

The Ushu open tournament was held at the Highest Sport Mastery in Ufa, Bashkortostan, Russia on April 29th 2004. It included sparring and individual performances.

The first World Martial Arts Peace King Cup USA Open Tournament was held at the UTS in Barrytown, New York on Sunday 30th May 2004. The peaceful setting of the UTS was graced by a beautiful day, with plenty of sun and cool temperatures.

The workshop's had a primary purpose was to train and educate leaders in both the technical skills and internal knowledge to enable them take responsibility of new Clubs that are to be opened in the Coast Province. The workshop began on 7th may and was to end on 8th May 2004. It had a total of 25 participants, out of which 20 of them were able to undergo a promotion test.

Papua New Guinea, April 19 ~ May 9, 2004
There were 24 students including 4 black belts from TKD, Hapkido, Karate, and Aikido. I taught Unification Principle every morning for one hour. I gave a lot of internal guidance. The students were very impressed and at the end of the workshop requested more lectures. All wanted to join TIMD.

"Miami TIMD Club" has 35 students registered plus some other people that often come to visit us and practice with our group.
Our next Goal is to enroll 40 more students within two months in order to move to a bigger location where we can have more comfort and space to hold our training.

Vanuatu is a small island nation with a population of only 400,000. Vanuatu is located just south of the Solomon Islands and just west of Fiji. and Policemen) from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. in the morning and the other group
which was composed of students were training from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
